Hammonds is a new practice, built on the foundations of years of experience. Geoff Miles formed Hammonds in 2001. Prior to then, he spent over twenty years as a partner in a central London practice. During that time, he was responsible for advising a portfolio of clients from a wide range of commerce - owner managed businesses in property development and investment, information technology, importing, wholesaling and retail, and professional firms, as well as charities, associations and institutes, and individual taxpayers. For the last thirteen years Geoff was also the practice finance partner and partnership secretary. Hammonds now provides a virtual finance director role to businesses that wish to outsource this function, freeing the owners to concentrate on working on the business and not just in it.
